Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. René Boezem started the match with the kick off. Yorrick Pietersmas short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Dennis Korevaar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 7 played minutes Heel got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Sleiffer. 17 minutes into the match, Margraten's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Ubels came free, but Dennis Korevaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Boezem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, René Boezem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Henk Holt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yorrick Pietersma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Margraten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Saveneij to maneuver through the defense. Ger Roordink struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Henk Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margraten. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, René Boezem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margraten's supporters rose to their feet, but René Boezem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henk Holt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Korevaar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yorrick Pietersma in the 38th minute. A collision led to Margraten getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Geale Damen hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Andreas Heinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yorrick Pietersma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Korevaar having to interfere. After the first half Margraten were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregor Ubels to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Evert Saveneij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Korevaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yorrick Pietersma in the 57th minute of play. Yorrick Pietersma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Korevaar having to interfere. Gregor Ubels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dennis Korevaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ger Roordink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregor Ubels in the 68th minute of play forced Margraten's goalkeeper Dennis Korevaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Margraten got a freekick which was hit by Evert Saveneij. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Henk Holt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ger Roordink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Henk Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Heel defense, Ger Roordink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henk Holt. The Heel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henk Holt should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Margraten eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
