After 23 minutes, Ernst Stekelenburg made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Overloon FC's Roland de Coninck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The wind increased when Ernst Stekelenburg made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Ernst Stekelenburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergeijk and the Overloon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Overloon FC's Frits Kloppenburg got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rick Germs scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland de Coninck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frans Rademaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland de Coninck having to interfere. Overloon FC's Roland de Coninck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Rademaker in the 84th minute of play. Bergeijk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
