Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jurjen Tollenaar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roland de Coninck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurjen Tollenaar in the 4th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Gido de Jaeger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 8th minute, Florian Wijngaart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Foeke Hemmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gido de Jaeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Nieuweschild HC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein Baptist. Foeke Hemmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gido de Jaeger in the 14th minute of the match. Frits Kloppenburg, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Kristian Stubbe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieuweschild HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Stubbe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland de Coninck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jurjen Tollenaar struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Roland de Coninck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieuweschild HC. Kristian Stubbe struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kristian Stubbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Nieuweschild HC's Jurjen Tollenaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland de Coninck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gido de Jaeger kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jurjen Tollenaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland de Coninck having to interfere. Roland de Coninck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jurjen Tollenaar went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gido de Jaeger made the kick off in the second half. Jurjen Tollenaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Overloon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jurjen Tollenaar came free, but Roland de Coninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nieuweschild HC's Jurjen Tollenaar got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Overloon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Vrieling to maneuver through the defense. Jurjen Tollenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Roland de Coninck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Nieuweschild HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Han Bijl to maneuver through the defense. Jaap Schol was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Overloon FC's Gido de Jaeger got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roland de Coninck made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Kristian Stubbe sent off a good shot on target. After 81 played minutes Overloon FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Vrieling. When Kristian Stubbe came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Nieuweschild HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Stubbe couldn't finish the play. Kristian Stubbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Roland de Coninck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Gido de Jaeger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Hemmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gido de Jaeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Nieuweschild HC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Overloon FC.
