Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lammerenburg HC's Hub Bartels started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Patrick Jonkman fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lammerenburg HC's protests and gave Patrick Jonkman a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Lammerenburg HC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Jonkman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Assendelft in the 4th minute of play forced Lammerenburg HC's goalkeeper Otto Ierlandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Harold Heuving shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lammerenburg HC's Laurens Abbenbroek got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Otto Ierlandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurits Boezem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelle Wielaert in the 29th minute of play forced Lammerenburg HC's goalkeeper Otto Ierlandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hub Bartels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elroy Arends read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Harold Heuving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Otto Ierlandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jack Timmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Timmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harold Heuving was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Lammerenburg HC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Laurens Abbenbroek hit a great ball. Jos Dalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elroy Arends having to interfere. Donald Vondel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Giel Folkers hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Jack Timmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elroy Arends came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Lammerenburg HC's Jos Dalman. But to his dismay, Jos Dalman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lammerenburg HC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Emmermeer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hub Bartels took the corner. The supporters of Emmermeer booed when Lammerenburg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Wilson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
