Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ralph Barels made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice moves Evert Vennegoor could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Frits Rademaker however easily saved by the left post. Frits Rademaker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Vennegoor went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute of the match Mario ter Averst sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ed Wilhelm skillfully saved the ball. Caseys Dreamteam 2's Ghislain Liagre suffered a sore thigh after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gerrit Grijp charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerrit Grijp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Broeksittard V.V. got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Grijp. In the 30th minute, Mario ter Averst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ed Wilhelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 38th minute, Ralph Barels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caseys Dreamteam 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Broeksittard V.V.'s zone, Claude Helssen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frits Rademaker came out of the goal and Claude Helssen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Broeksittard V.V.'s Frits Rademaker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Broeksittard V.V. from getting a goal against them. Ralph Barels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Frits Rademaker made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martien Oorthuis to make the kick off. Claude Helssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Frits Rademaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralph Barels struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Frits Rademaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseys Dreamteam 2. 57 minutes into the match, Broeksittard V.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Barels came free, but Frits Rademaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Caseys Dreamteam 2 got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Barels. After a defensive mix-up in Broeksittard V.V.'s zone, Evert Vennegoor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frits Rademaker came out of the goal and Evert Vennegoor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frits Rademaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Barels in the 68th minute of play. Ralph Barels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Frits Rademaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ralph Barels came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Caseys Dreamteam 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Barels couldn't finish the play. Frits Rademaker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Barels in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Broeksittard V.V.'s Mario ter Averst got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Ralph Barels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frits Rademaker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 83 minutes Broeksittard V.V.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elmar Steelman who took care of the corner kick. Ralph Barels struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Frits Rademaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseys Dreamteam 2. Frits Rademaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Barels, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Claude Helssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ed Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Oorthuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caseys Dreamteam 2 had played much better football throughout.
