Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tim Ommen made the kick off and thus started the match. Oscar Kaspers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Niels Oss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niels Oss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinier Reinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon de Haan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniël Oosterhof in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Kaspers got free with Niels Oss in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Ommen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon de Haan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Serge Haan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wilderhof HC and the IJpelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wilderhof HC's Serge Haan got a free kick in the 30th minute. IJpelo's Emil Wijk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wilderhof HC. Daniël Oosterhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon de Haan having to interfere. Wilderhof HC's Simon de Haan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Ommen in the 37th minute of play. Simon de Haan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniël Oosterhof in the 38th minute of play. Reinier Reinders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Wilderhof HC got a freekick which was hit by Christiaan Gierman. Oscar Kaspers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Oss having to interfere. Niels Oss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinier Reinders in the 47th minute of play.

In the 52nd minute, Daniël Oosterhof got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute of the match Emil Wijk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon de Haan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniël Oosterhof got free with Simon de Haan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Wilderhof HC's Oscar Kaspers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niels Oss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barry Wemers charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barry Wemers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes IJpelo got a freekick which was hit by Barry Wemers. Huub van Baarle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niels Oss. IJpelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 72nd minute Reinier Reinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niels Oss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniël Oosterhof got free with Simon de Haan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rudolf Kremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arie Oosterbaan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in IJpelo's zone, Reinier Reinders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niels Oss came out of the goal and Reinier Reinders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilderhof HC's Simon de Haan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Wilderhof HC from getting a goal against them. Daniël Oosterhof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
