After 11 minutes, Gijs Wagenaar made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vogelwijk's Johannes van Putten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Sebastian Anghelescu took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Johannes van Putten to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Diermen HC's Johannes van Putten threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijs Wagenaar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sebastian Anghelescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Johannes van Putten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Oevermans made a kick off. Sebastian Anghelescu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Johannes van Putten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diermen HC. Gijs Wagenaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes van Putten having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Anghelescu in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes van Putten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the game, Sebastian Anghelescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Johannes van Putten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Sebastian Anghelescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Gijs Wagenaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johannes van Putten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijs Wagenaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Floris Colen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vogelwijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Floris Colen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vogelwijk's Johannes van Putten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijs Wagenaar in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Sebastian Anghelescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes van Putten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diermen HC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
