Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tonny Kersten got the match started through his kick off. Johannes van Putten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Kromkamp in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Tonny Kersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Edgar Kromkamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johannes van Putten was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th minute of the match Heidenhoek HC got a corner. Vogelwijk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antoon Mulder ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Erwin Wikenburg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Floris Colen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vogelwijk's supporters rose to their feet, but Floris Colen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henk-Jan Wemers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes van Putten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonny Kersten in the 25th minute of the match. Edgar Kromkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Johannes van Putten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgar Kromkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Heidenhoek HC's Edgar Kromkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johannes van Putten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Oevermans to make the kick off. Johannes van Putten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Kauffeld in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Felix Oevermans notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Heidenhoek HC's Henk-Jan Wemers. Henk-Jan Wemers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Kromkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriaan Kort charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriaan Kort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Heidenhoek HC booed when Vogelwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriaan Kort didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tonny Kersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Oevermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk-Jan Wemers having to interfere. Tonny Kersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henk-Jan Wemers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Floris Colen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vogelwijk's Felix Oevermans got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Floris Colen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Vogelwijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Floris Colen couldn't finish the play. Pieter-Jan van Loen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Vogelwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter-Jan van Loen to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Heidenhoek HC's Edgar Kromkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johannes van Putten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Heidenhoek HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Kersten to maneuver through the defense. Tonny Kersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes van Putten having to interfere.
