Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Evert Käller started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Houtendoel's goalkeeper Sören Bachmeier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Ernst Wesseling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Kryspin Weyna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houtendoel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Weyna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Houtendoel's Sören Bachmeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Boersma in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Vierhuizen Inter Bull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Boersma to maneuver through the defense. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 18th minute, but Denny Wagemakers got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Vierhuizen Inter Bull hanging dry this time. Denny Wagemakers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Wesseling in the 19th minute. Sören Bachmeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Käller in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Vierhuizen Inter Bull getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Steve Boersma hit a great ball. Per-Erik Ekeroth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denny Wagemakers having to make a save. In the 34th minute Per-Erik Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Wagemakers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Erik Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Erik Ekeroth to make the kick off. The supporters of Vierhuizen Inter Bull booed when Houtendoel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Wesseling didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Harris Hateboer from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Sören Bachmeier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Denny Wagemakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Weyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Houtendoel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Wesseling to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Houtendoel got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Wesseling. Steve Boersma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sören Bachmeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Käller in the 68th minute of the match. Denny Wagemakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Weyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Steve Boersma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sören Bachmeier. Steve Boersma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Kryspin Weyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Denny Wagemakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Kryspin Weyna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houtendoel's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Weyna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Wagemakers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justin Timmerman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Vierhuizen Inter Bull got a freekick which was hit by Evert Käller. Vierhuizen Inter Bull's Denny Wagemakers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Weyna in the 91st minute of play. The Houtendoel players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
