With a little luck, Weena's Gerben Eylens got control of the ball when Falco Lubbers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Weena's Ab Spiering got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The GWMD fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when GWMD's Falco Lubbers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee ignored GWMD's protests and gave Thomas Eisenga a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes GWMD got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Eisenga. After 28 played minutes Weena got a freekick which was hit by Simon Hartogh. Gerben Eylens made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Falco Lubbers sent off a good shot on target. GWMD's Benjamin Ierlandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjeerd van den Bergh in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, GWMD's Mart Zwaanswijk got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Tjeerd van den Bergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tjeerd van den Bergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Tjeerd van den Bergh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Weena's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Falco Lubbers scored to the left of an out of position Gerben Eylens, making the score, 2-0. In the 40th minute Marinus Dolfing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerben Eylens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Gooitzen Witting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Ab Spiering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ab Spiering stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Ierlandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ab Spiering in the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Marinus Dolfing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GWMD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marinus Dolfing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 58 minutes of play Weena's Gio Sloothaak was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Weena's Gerben Eylens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinus Dolfing in the 61st minute of play. Benjamin Ierlandt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Saveneij. Benjamin Ierlandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ab Spiering, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Marinus Dolfing scored 3-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerben Eylens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Falco Lubbers came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the GWMD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falco Lubbers couldn't finish the play. Tjeerd van den Bergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Benjamin Ierlandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tjeerd van den Bergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Ab Spiering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Weena booed when GWMD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marinus Dolfing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mart Zwaanswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ab Spiering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Ierlandt having to interfere. Gerben Eylens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falco Lubbers in the 94th minute of play. GWMD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
