With a left leg Martijn Geerts saved Sporting Skoekeloen from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Krul City Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Remond Luikens came free, but Joaquin Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Jacobus Hanekamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remond Luikens in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Krul City Wolves getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leendert van der Linden hit a great ball. With his leg Joaquin Salvatore managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Sporting Skoekeloen's Roger Enzing fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martijn Geerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Verhoeven in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Ferry Dussel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martijn Geerts. Sporting Skoekeloen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferry Dussel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Ferry Dussel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Martijn Geerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Skoekeloen's zone, Ferry Dussel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martijn Geerts came out of the goal and Ferry Dussel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Ferry Dussel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn Geerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Veninga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martijn Geerts came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Krul City Wolves's Luc Verhoeven. But to his dismay, Luc Verhoeven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Krul City Wolves's Joaquin Salvatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Krul City Wolves from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Enzing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Ferry Dussel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krul City Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferry Dussel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luc Verhoeven in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martijn Geerts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 56 played minutes Ferry Dussel rounded Sporting Skoekeloen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Sporting Skoekeloen's Martijn Geerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Zandee in the 60th minute of play. Martijn Geerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferry Dussel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Verhoeven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Martijn Geerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remond Luikens in the 65th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Wilco Arends mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krul City Wolves and the Sporting Skoekeloen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Krul City Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilco Arends to maneuver through the defense. Stephan Zandee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilco Arends had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sporting Skoekeloen's Martijn Geerts got control of the ball when Luc Verhoeven tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferry Dussel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martijn Geerts came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferry Dussel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 86th minute. When Agne Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Krul City Wolves's protests and gave Agne Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. Ferry Dussel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Sporting Skoekeloen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Krul City Wolves's performance. The match ended with a win for Krul City Wolves.
