The corner led to Zijdewind SC's Rein van Steensel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marick Staarman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Alferink in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diderik Alferink in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marick Staarman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo van der Saar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mario Klompe firmly grabbed it by the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Diderik Alferink notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Beachelona's Marick Staarman. Marick Staarman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the FC Beachelona defense, Ruud Luirink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marick Staarman. The FC Beachelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marick Staarman should have stopped the shot. Marick Staarman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Alferink in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diderik Alferink in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marick Staarman saved FC Beachelona from getting behind. Rein van Steensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Beachelona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zijdewind SC were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Diderik Alferink made the kick off in the second half. Diderik Alferink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marick Staarman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Diderik Alferink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, one of FC Beachelona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Beachelona. 66 minutes into the game, Zijdewind SC's Robin ten Rouwelaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marick Staarman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Marick Staarman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Alferink in the 77th minute of play. Ruud Luirink struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Marick Staarman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zijdewind SC. Teo van der Saar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. Marick Staarman was a little too slow when Diderik Alferink got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-6. Teo van der Saar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diderik Alferink in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marick Staarman saved FC Beachelona from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Zijdewind SC's Diderik Alferink ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marick Staarman. Marick Staarman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Steven Post hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Jan Haan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diderik Alferink in the 98th minute of play forced FC Beachelona's goalkeeper Marick Staarman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Zijdewind SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Beachelona throughout the match.
