Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrea Di Tullio ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Gormaz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by afc champs's Andrea Di Tullio. But to his dismay, Andrea Di Tullio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Arjan van Zijp fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IJssel Boys FC's protests and gave Arjan van Zijp a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes IJssel Boys FC got a freekick which was hit by Arjan van Zijp. In the 13th minute Andrea Di Tullio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Gormaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andrea Di Tullio sped through IJssel Boys FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Gormaz. In the 17thth minute of the game Alwin Rolink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but afc champs's Gigi Donnarumma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With splendid footwork Alwin Rolink arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Andrea Di Tullio managed to get in a good position for a shot. afc champs's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Di Tullio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Gormaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of IJssel Boys FC booed when afc champs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Vondel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boleslaw Pawlik hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, afc champs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Witting to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Alwin Rolink lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Gigi Donnarumma. Andrea Di Tullio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alwin Rolink in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigi Donnarumma saved afc champs from getting behind. Alwin Rolink hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alwin Rolink sent off a good shot on target. Alwin Rolink in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gigi Donnarumma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrea Di Tullio made a kick off. Andrea Di Tullio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Victoriano Gormaz made a huge save. Andrea Di Tullio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 59th playminute. The long shot by Witalis Blicharz in the 64th minute really tested Victoriano Gormaz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Ronny Dussel fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored afc champs's protests and gave Ronny Dussel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute of the match, Bolli Bompastor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victoriano Gormaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 72 minutes into the match, Bolli Bompastor notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of IJssel Boys FC's Victoriano Gormaz. Victoriano Gormaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, IJssel Boys FC's Victoriano Gormaz got control of the ball when Witalis Blicharz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Witalis Blicharz notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of IJssel Boys FC's Victoriano Gormaz. Victoriano Gormaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alwin Rolink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alwin Rolink, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, afc champs's goal looked a bit too open when Alwin Rolink came free, but Gigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. afc champs walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
