Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Rooy in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, The Maquis's Niels Rooy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. A collision led to The Maquis getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Oliver Smit hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niels Rooy was the one to do the kick off. Hendrik-Jan Krommert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niels Rooy went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Walther Jano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Scott in the 59th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, The Maquis's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Scott came free, but Walther Jano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Zalm hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niels Rooy in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hendrik-Jan Krommert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Niels Rooy in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Walther Jano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Walther Jano made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Brain Veldman sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, The Maquis's goalkeeper Walther Jano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavi Simons. With a little luck, The Maquis's Walther Jano got control of the ball when Xavi Simons tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Niels Rooy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flashdynamica's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because The Maquis had won, even though Flashdynamica had held more of the ball.
