Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Laandaas's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gialanze came free, but Sean Portelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Laandaas got a freekick which was hit by Marc Doublet. In the 28th minute of the match Nathan Meilak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Farina skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute Martin Gialanze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Portelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, one of Hot Llama FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hot Llama FC. Neil Tabone shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Martin Gialanze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sean Portelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Laandaas's zone, Keithrick Farina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sean Portelli came out of the goal and Keithrick Farina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hot Llama FC booed when Laandaas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Bonett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Callus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Hot Llama FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Callus. In the 62nd minute, Martin Gialanze made a precise shot to the right of Sean Portelli. Laandaas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 69th minute, Hot Llama FC's Martin Gialanze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sean Portelli. Sean Portelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Sean Portelli was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Claudio Callus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Callus really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Hot Llama FC's Tony Farina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Fava in the 77th minute of play. Martin Gialanze's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Sean Portelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Martin Gialanze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Martin Gialanze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Callus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Portelli having to interfere. Martin Gialanze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Sean Portelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dylan Bonett's late challenge caught a Hot Llama FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dylan Bonett helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Laandaas got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Bonett. The Laandaas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hot Llama FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
