Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacob Bongailas kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mosta's goal looked a bit too open when John Grimaud came free, but Keith Cilia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Grimaud to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, John Grimaud took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Keith Cilia to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute, Brian Dingli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keith Cilia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Grimaud in the 60th minute of the match. If Brian Dingli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Grimaud during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. John Grimaud was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Mosta's Joseph Scifo got a free kick in the 77th minute.
