Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Buġibba's John Mary Denaro got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keith Cilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Risso in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacob Bongailas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cleaven Salinos. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Harry Risso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yan Musumeci kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Harry Risso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buġibba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Risso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When John Mary Denaro came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Buġibba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Mary Denaro couldn't finish the play. Harry Risso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Cilia having to interfere. Keith Cilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Risso in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buġibba's goalkeeper Cleaven Salinos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cleaven Salinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Bongailas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlon Calì sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Bongailas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlon Calì might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleaven Salinos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlon Calì ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute of the match, Charlon Calì got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cleaven Salinos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cleaven Salinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Bongailas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Buġibba's goalkeeper Cleaven Salinos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlon Calì. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Risso to strike the kick off in the second half. Mosta's Keith Cilia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Mosta from getting a goal against them. John Mary Denaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Cilia having to interfere. Buġibba's Harry Risso got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keith Cilia made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Mary Denaro in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Charlon Calì managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosta's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlon Calì was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleaven Salinos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mosta's Keith Cilia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pickard in the 77th minute of play. John Mary Denaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Cilia having to interfere. Keith Cilia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Risso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keith Cilia made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when John Mary Denaro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Risso in the 84th minute of play forced Mosta's goalkeeper Keith Cilia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleaven Salinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlon Calì, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Buġibba booed when Mosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Musumeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keith Cilia made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when John Mary Denaro sent off a good shot on target. Charlon Calì succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 95th match minute, Mosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Musumeci to maneuver through the defense. Harry Risso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mosta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
