After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Matthew Bianco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartacus F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Bianco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Valenzia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pembroke's Marco Valenzia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Borg in the 4th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Reuben Ambrogio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartacus F.C.'s Ethan Xuereb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Spartacus F.C. defense, Julian Degabriele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ethan Xuereb. The Spartacus F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ethan Xuereb should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Matthew Bianco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Valenzia was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Vittorio Bianco charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vittorio Bianco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Pembroke got a freekick which was hit by Vittorio Bianco. Marco Valenzia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Bianco, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Reuben Ambrogio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ethan Xuereb was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Pembroke's Reuben Ambrogio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ethan Xuereb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Julian Degabriele reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ethan Xuereb. The goal made the score 2-0. Ethan Xuereb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Ambrogio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Borg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthew Bianco to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Vittorio Bianco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Spartacus F.C.'s Ethan Xuereb. Ethan Xuereb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pembroke's Marco Valenzia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Bianco in the 56th minute of play. Reuben Ambrogio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Alessio Borg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartacus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Borg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Christian Abateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pembroke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartacus F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Pembroke getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Christian Abateo hit a great ball. Matthew Bianco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Valenzia having to interfere. Pembroke's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
