Vincent Ebejer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evan Coppini in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Tarġa Gap Youngsters's Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Ebejer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Ebejer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Senglea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony England to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Luke Mizzi saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. After 13 minutes, Istivan Cilia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senglea and the Tarġa Gap Youngsters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Senglea got a freekick which was hit by Istivan Cilia. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Vince Stagno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vince Stagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Ebejer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Owen Cardona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Istivan Cilia in the 26th minute of play. If Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Ebejer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nathaniel Manicolos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Vincent Ebejer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Ebejer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tarġa Gap Youngsters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Senglea were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vincent Ebejer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Manicolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony England kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Nathaniel Manicolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Senglea's Vincent Ebejer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Ebejer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vince Stagno in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Owen Cardona saved Tarġa Gap Youngsters from getting behind. Vincent Ebejer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Testaferrata Moroni Viani in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nathaniel Manicolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarġa Gap Youngsters's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathaniel Manicolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Ebejer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Tarġa Gap Youngsters were the better team. Tarġa Gap Youngsters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
