Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacob Galea Feriol started the match with the kick off. When Highbury Boys F.C's Mario Magro in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Girgenti Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the game, Highbury Boys F.C's Mario Magro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robbie Samut Tagliaferro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Henry Thierry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Samut Tagliaferro having to interfere. In the 18th minute Jacob Galea Feriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shen Ning Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Highbury Boys F.C's Shen Ning Qiang got control of the ball when Leo Meilak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 played minutes Girgenti Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Charlton Laudi. The audience was convinced that Mario Magro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbie Samut Tagliaferro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Shen Ning Qiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Galea Feriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes of play, Highbury Boys F.C's Mario Magro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robbie Samut Tagliaferro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Magro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Girgenti Rovers's Charlton Laudi got a free kick in the 45th minute. Robbie Samut Tagliaferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Magro in the 48th minute of the match. The Girgenti Rovers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Highbury Boys F.C were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Magro to strike the kick off in the second half. Henry Thierry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Magro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Robbie Samut Tagliaferro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Keithrick Testa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highbury Boys F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keithrick Testa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Charlton Laudi fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Girgenti Rovers's protests and gave Charlton Laudi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Charlton Laudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Girgenti Rovers's goalkeeper Robbie Samut Tagliaferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Highbury Boys F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Galea Feriol came free, but Shen Ning Qiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shen Ning Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Calascione in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Highbury Boys F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keithrick Testa to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Highbury Boys F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mark Mintoff. 82 minutes into the match, Girgenti Rovers's goalkeeper Robbie Samut Tagliaferro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Magro. Mario Magro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Robbie Samut Tagliaferro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Mark Mintoff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robbie Samut Tagliaferro. Mark Mintoff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Robbie Samut Tagliaferro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Magro in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Highbury Boys F.C's Mark Mintoff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The Girgenti Rovers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Highbury Boys F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
