Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gary Mamo kicked off to start the match. Amadeo Brockdorff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Balzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Brian DeGaetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qrendi's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian DeGaetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrè Spiteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Balzan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Brockdorff having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Terence Duca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siġġiewi's supporters rose to their feet, but Terence Duca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Brockdorff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siġġiewi's Jeremy Grioli got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Herbert Balzan came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Siġġiewi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Balzan couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Herbert Balzan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Balzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Amadeo Brockdorff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terence Duca took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Brockdorff. Amadeo Brockdorff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Herbert Balzan took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Brockdorff. Terence Duca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Qrendi got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Agius. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Balzan made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Siġġiewi's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Mamo came free, but Andrè Spiteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Qrendi booed when Siġġiewi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Grioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Andrea Zarb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Michael Soler in the 58th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Andrè Spiteri's left hand side. Andrè Spiteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian DeGaetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd play minute Terence Duca came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amadeo Brockdorff. 0-3. Jeremy Grioli kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Herbert Balzan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Brockdorff having to make a save. After 74 minutes of play, Siġġiewi's Terence Duca made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Brockdorff was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 played minutes Qrendi got a freekick which was hit by Michael Soler. In the 83rd minute, Terence Duca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Brockdorff was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Terence Duca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Siġġiewi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Qrendi throughout the match.
