In the 10th match minute, Drac Juve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrè Drago to maneuver through the defense. Anton Dørum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Malcolm Griffin made a huge save. Ephrem Cassar Desain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Azzopardi in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Drac Juve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Griscti to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes, Hilfiger's Massimo De Lucca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Malcolm Griffin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hilfiger reached it. 28 minutes into the match, Hilfiger's goal looked a bit too open when Antoine Genovese came free, but Ephrem Cassar Desain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Anton Dørum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hilfiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Dørum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Griffin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Drac Juve's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Testaferrata Viani came free, but Malcolm Griffin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Testaferrata Viani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoine Genovese scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ephrem Cassar Desain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hilfiger's goalkeeper Ephrem Cassar Desain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match, Anton Dørum got a very nice opportunity to score, but Malcolm Griffin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Testaferrata Viani to make the kick off. Anton Dørum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Griffin having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Marcel Testaferrata Viani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Marcel Testaferrata Viani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Griffin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Massimo De Lucca charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Massimo De Lucca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hilfiger's Massimo De Lucca got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 65 minutes of play, Hilfiger's Marcel Testaferrata Viani made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malcolm Griffin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute of the match, William Agius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ephrem Cassar Desain was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Malcolm Griffin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Testaferrata Viani in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Anton Dørum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hilfiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Dørum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Clint Testaferrata Viani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcel Testaferrata Viani came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hilfiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Testaferrata Viani couldn't finish the play. Hilfiger's Marcel Testaferrata Viani got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Marcel Testaferrata Viani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hilfiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Testaferrata Viani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Drac Juve's zone, Anton Dørum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Griffin came out of the goal and Anton Dørum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Drac Juve getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Clint Testaferrata Viani hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Drac Juve's William Agius got a free kick in the 90th minute. Marcel Testaferrata Viani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Griffin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Anton Dørum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Malcolm Griffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilfiger walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
