Keith Harmsworth came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luciano Bonavita could save by the left post. Herbert De Rinaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tanek Tokarczyk succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 82nd playminute. After 85 minutes of play, Wied il-Għajn's Carl Aragona made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roderick Camilleri was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Pavel Oltean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Keith Harmsworth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Luciano Bonavita made a huge save.
