Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Marsascala Tornadoes's Jayden Samut Tagliaferro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philip Pace Asciak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jayden Samut Tagliaferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute, Jake Cesareo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Frederick Gruppetta, passed just outside the right post. 8 minutes into the match, Binġemma's goal looked a bit too open when Jayden Samut Tagliaferro came free, but Philip Pace Asciak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Caruana kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jake Cesareo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Gruppetta saved Marsascala Tornadoes from getting behind. Marsascala Tornadoes's Frederick Gruppetta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Marsascala Tornadoes from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Brian Antonelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jayden Samut Tagliaferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Binġemma's goal looked a bit too open when Jayden Samut Tagliaferro came free, but Philip Pace Asciak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederick Gruppetta made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Peter Zerafa sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Jake Cesareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Gruppetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederick Gruppetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jake Cesareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Peter Zerafa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Frederick Gruppetta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jake Cesareo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jayden Samut Tagliaferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Jeremy DeGaetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binġemma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marsascala Tornadoes the free kick. 54 minutes into the match, Marsascala Tornadoes's Fabian Scicluna broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Binġemma's Philip Pace Asciak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Binġemma from getting a goal against them. Glenn Vella Bonavita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Pace Asciak having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Marsascala Tornadoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfrey Ventura to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Wilfred Zaffarese shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Marsascala Tornadoes's Frederick Gruppetta to catch but Wilfred Zaffarese was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The long shot by Leonard Demartino in the 74th minute really tested Philip Pace Asciak's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 74 played minutes Binġemma got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy DeGaetano. Glenn Vella Bonavita might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Pace Asciak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn Vella Bonavita ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Zerafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Gruppetta having to interfere. Jake Cesareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes Marsascala Tornadoes got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Scicluna. When Brady Falzon Sant Manduca fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marsascala Tornadoes's protests and gave Brady Falzon Sant Manduca a yellow card for diving instead. Brady Falzon Sant Manduca hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
