Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Liam Cassar got the match started through his kick off. Sebastian Demicoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Brincat, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Neil Musu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liam Cassar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Demicoli. Diamond Eyes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Borg Xuereb got free with Gilbert Curmi in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Miguel Mugliett got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Gilbert Curmi managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Diamond Eyes's Chris Borg Xuereb fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Antoine Bugelli came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Diamond Eyes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoine Bugelli couldn't finish the play. Liam Cassar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sebastian Demicoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paul Laudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Pulè charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Pulè the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Amadeo Brincat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les diables de Chamonix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Les diables de Chamonix were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antoine Bugelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Amadeo Brincat came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Les diables de Chamonix fans jumped to their feet. Amadeo Brincat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Les diables de Chamonix's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Borg Xuereb came free, but Gilbert Curmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Liam Cassar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Mugliett hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Antoine Bugelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gilbert Curmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Diamond Eyes's zone, Paul Laudi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Demicoli came out of the goal and Paul Laudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liam Cassar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sebastian Demicoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Curmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoine Bugelli's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 80 minutes in the game, Evan Felice fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastian Demicoli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Fiott in the 87th minute of play forced Diamond Eyes's goalkeeper Sebastian Demicoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Les diables de Chamonix's Paul Laudi got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Brincat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Les diables de Chamonix's Edward Fiott slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Demicoli. That made the score 0-3 after 95 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Les diables de Chamonix had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
