Aaron Tanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Micallef in the 9th minute of play. Cem Güler hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Patryk Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Severino Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Tanti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Owen Grech Cumbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Zahovič in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Swatar United FC's zone, Severino Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Siekierski came out of the goal and Severino Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Brian Blanco. Mario Salerno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Owen Grech Cumbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Bueno in the 40th minute of the match. Mario Salerno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Aaron Tanti made a huge save. Enzo Perez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Mario Salerno took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aaron Tanti to make any attempt to save it.

Eleven Young Elephants's Fabio Savona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patryk Siekierski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Carlo Camilleri fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eleven Young Elephants's protests and gave Carlo Camilleri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Carlo Camilleri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Tanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Pârcălab in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Sebastian Pârcălab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Tanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Bueno got free with Patryk Siekierski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
