When Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Gerada in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floriana Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. With splendid footwork Nikolai Gerada arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 7th minute. Joseph De Fremeaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Nikolai Gerada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ian Satariano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolai Gerada got free with Ian Satariano in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Nikolai Gerada took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ian Satariano to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, Floriana Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Sammut came free, but Ian Satariano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolai Gerada in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Satariano saved Floriana Athletic from getting behind. Ian Satariano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolai Gerada, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ian Satariano made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Joseph De Fremeaux sent off a good shot on target. Ian Satariano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Dalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Satariano was a little too slow when Nikolai Gerada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 4-0. Thomas Dalli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 35 minutes into the match, Floriana Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolai Gerada came free, but Ian Satariano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Nikolai Gerada rounded Floriana Athletic's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. When Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Gerada in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikolai Gerada made a kick off. The Buġibba Youngsters fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Gerada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 65 played minutes Buġibba Youngsters got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Sammut. Buġibba Youngsters's Ivan Chircop was substituted for Joseph De Fremeaux. A collision led to Buġibba Youngsters getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nathaniel Sammut hit a great ball. When Nikolai Gerada came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Buġibba Youngsters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikolai Gerada couldn't finish the play. With 70 minutes on the clock, Francesco Alagona commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 70 minutes into the game, one of Floriana Athletic:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Buġibba Youngsters. Nikolai Gerada stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ian Satariano. 11-0. Ivan Chircop took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Satariano. Ian Satariano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolai Gerada in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Satariano saved Floriana Athletic from getting behind. Nikolai Zammit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ian Satariano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Floriana Athletic got a freekick which was hit by George Cousin. The Buġibba Youngsters fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Gerada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
