When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Nicholas Quintano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Satariano. George Cousin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Tedesco having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Nicholas Quintano made a precise shot to the right of Ian Satariano. Floriana Athletic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 34thth minute of the game Jake Spiteri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floriana Athletic's Ian Satariano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nicholas Quintano managed to get in a good position for a shot.
