After 6 played minutes, Podmolje Partizan's Orce Stojkovič shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danail Milev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Podmolje Partizan reached it. Danail Milev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrica Spasenoski in the 7th minute of play. If Dobrica Kaevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tome Nesimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mite Milev came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ilinden Pobeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mite Milev couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Savo Staninov during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Savo Staninov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Miladin Apostolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Milev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miladin Apostolov to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Dobrica Spasenoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podmolje Partizan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dobrica Spasenoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Miladin Apostolov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Todorovič hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Čedo Davkovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobrica Kaevski in the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Ilinden Pobeda got a freekick which was hit by Dobrica Kaevski. Miladin Apostolov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Danail Milev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Ilinden Pobeda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Podmolje Partizan:s goal. Podmolje Partizan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vlastimir Petrusevski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vlastimir Petrusevski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Čedo Davkovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mite Milev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Čedo Davkovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Podmolje Partizan were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ilinden Pobeda side.
