Tritan Blagojev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tritan Blagojev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timotej Sazdanovski in the 9th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Petrovec's Timotej Sazdanovski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tritan Blagojev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bojan Nikoloski kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Adam Serafimoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Najden Doksim hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Aca Milevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žarko Ackovski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When Žarko Ackovski came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Podmol Partizan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Žarko Ackovski couldn't finish the play. Aca Milevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Serafimoski in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Petrovec booed when Podmol Partizan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomislav Debarliev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 49 played minutes Timotej Sazdanovski rounded Podmol Partizan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timotej Sazdanovski was the one to do the kick off. Tritan Blagojev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timotej Sazdanovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Živojin Grozdanov struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Tritan Blagojev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petrovec. If Živojin Grozdanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrovec's Aca Milevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Petrovec from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute of the match Podmol Partizan got a corner. Petrovec's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pero Arsovski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Podmol Partizan's Dušan Dobrev to fire away a dangerous shot which Aca Milevski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A well placed Žarko Ackovski short distance shot in the 73rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. If Živojin Grozdanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Žarko Ackovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aca Milevski having to interfere. Bojan Nikoloski kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Petrovec's Živojin Grozdanov made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tritan Blagojev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aca Milevski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Živojin Grozdanov struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tritan Blagojev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petrovec. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Timotej Sazdanovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrovec's supporters rose to their feet, but Timotej Sazdanovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tritan Blagojev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
