Ilmi Dojčinovski scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihajlo Dalov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zoran Gilevski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Toni Emini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Toni Emini made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Zoran Gilevski sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doksim Andreev during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Kočani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doksim Andreev to maneuver through the defense. Toni Emini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlatko Boja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zoran Gilevski came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Brusnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoran Gilevski couldn't finish the play. Mihajlo Dalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmi Dojčinovski in the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josif Jerkovič during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Brusnik's Vlatko Boja dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Ilmi Dojčinovski made a precise shot to the right of Mihajlo Dalov. Brusnik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Kočani's Toni Emini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orce Lozanov in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vlatko Boja to strike the kick off in the second half. Mihajlo Dalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiril Solunčevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Kočani's Ristan Bogatinovski got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Zoran Gilevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Brusnik booed when Kočani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Micevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Josif Jerkovič came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Brusnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josif Jerkovič couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the game, Miladin Mironov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kočani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brusnik the free kick. The supporters of Brusnik booed when Kočani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miladin Mironov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Vlatko Boja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brusnik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlatko Boja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilmi Dojčinovski hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Kočani supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kočani would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
