If Miroslav Vangelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksandar Karov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Stanič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vladimir Vasovski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ilinden booed when Zelenikovo Sloga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Vasovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svetozar Dimitrov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksandar Karov having to make a save. If Mihail Stanič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Zelenikovo Sloga defense, Svetozar Dimitrov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksandar Karov. The Zelenikovo Sloga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksandar Karov should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Svetozar Dimitrov sped through Zelenikovo Sloga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aleksandar Karov. The Zelenikovo Sloga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ilinden were winning 0-3.

In the 62nd minute, Mihail Stanič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksandar Karov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With his leg Aleksandar Karov managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Ilinden's Svetozar Dimitrov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 67th minute, Mihail Stanič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Branimir Ordanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blagojče Maznov charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blagojče Maznov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aleksandar Karov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Stanič, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Miroslav Vangelov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branimir Ordanov in the 80th minute of play forced Ilinden's goalkeeper Slobodan Zahariev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svetozar Dimitrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zelenikovo Sloga's zone, Svetozar Dimitrov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksandar Karov came out of the goal and Svetozar Dimitrov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svetozar Dimitrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandar Karov having to interfere. When Svetozar Dimitrov came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ilinden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svetozar Dimitrov couldn't finish the play.
