Timotej Damčevski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Kočani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timotej Damčevski to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Ile Gjurovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veselin Nikiforovski's late challenge caught a Kočani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veselin Nikiforovski helped the player get up and apologised. Alek Mitevski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armend Nano having to interfere. Velko Dimovski's late challenge caught a Kočani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Velko Dimovski helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valandovo! The referee gave Kočani a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Milovan Davidovič, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Valandovo's Armend Nano. 0-1. Timotej Damčevski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute Tanas Damevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ratomir Cvetkovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veselin Nikiforovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Kočani were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Igor Halili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Armend Nano made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Valandovo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Halili fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Veselin Nikiforovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ratomir Cvetkovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanas Damevski in the 65th minute of play. If Veselin Nikiforovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Kočani's goal looked a bit too open when Veselin Nikiforovski came free, but Ratomir Cvetkovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Halili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armend Nano having to interfere. Ratomir Cvetkovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanas Damevski in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Veselin Nikiforovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ratomir Cvetkovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kočani's Ratomir Cvetkovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veselin Nikiforovski in the 76th minute of play. Tanas Damevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ratomir Cvetkovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veselin Nikiforovski in the 83rd minute of play forced Kočani's goalkeeper Ratomir Cvetkovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Tanas Damevski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kočani's Ratomir Cvetkovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ratomir Cvetkovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veselin Nikiforovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kočani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tanas Petkovski was slow to take the kick. During this time Valandovo's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tanas Petkovski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kočani's Ratomir Cvetkovski did a great save.
