Gorazd Dimitrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sašo Floroski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilinden's Neven Solunčevski got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artmir Trajcevski during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rankovce getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Artmir Trajcevski hit a great ball. If Neven Solunčevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Todor Frašeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sašo Floroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rankovce booed when Ilinden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikola Mladenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, one of Rankovce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rankovce. Trajče Karamarkovič really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Todor Frašeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
