When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marjan Delovski sped through Drenovo Pobeda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bajuk Bizi. In the 11th minute, Jovče Tasevski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marjan Delovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bajuk Bizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jovče Tasevski came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ljuboten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jovče Tasevski couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jovče Tasevski in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bajuk Bizi saved Drenovo Pobeda from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Drenovo Pobeda's Trajče Šulevski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aca Čaparovski. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. In the 23rd match minute, Drenovo Pobeda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blagoja Tomevski to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Drenovo Pobeda getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Blagoja Tomevski hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Jovče Tasevski made a precise shot to the right of Bajuk Bizi. Drenovo Pobeda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jovče Tasevski in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bajuk Bizi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aca Čaparovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trajče Šulevski in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Ljuboten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spase Pejovič to maneuver through the defense. Dojčin Uzunov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aca Čaparovski having to interfere. Trajče Šulevski succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jovče Tasevski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lefter Bogatinovski during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Ljuboten:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Drenovo Pobeda a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dragi Nedelkov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ljuboten's Aca Čaparovski. 3-2. Aca Čaparovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trajče Šulevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jovče Tasevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bajuk Bizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bajuk Bizi made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Marjan Delovski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jovče Tasevski in the 65th minute of play forced Drenovo Pobeda's goalkeeper Bajuk Bizi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marjan Delovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ljuboten's Lefter Bogatinovski got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Jovče Tasevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bajuk Bizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ljuboten's Marjan Delovski got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Drenovo Pobeda's goal looked a bit too open when Jovče Tasevski came free, but Bajuk Bizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drenovo Pobeda's goalkeeper Bajuk Bizi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jovče Tasevski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bajuk Bizi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jovče Tasevski in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bajuk Bizi saved Drenovo Pobeda from getting behind. Aca Čaparovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trajče Šulevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Trajče Šulevski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aca Čaparovski having to interfere. Ljuboten's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
