After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Željko Nevenoski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gostivar's supporters rose to their feet, but Željko Nevenoski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stojan Rastkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stojan Rastkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranko Uzunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Ranko Uzunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes, Makedon Arsov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aerodrom Napredok and the Gostivar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aerodrom Napredok's Makedon Arsov got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ranko Uzunov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stojan Rastkov having to interfere. Slobodan Mironov hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gostivar's Ilija Bojčeski got control of the ball when Makedon Arsov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hristijan Taškov kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gostivar's Ilija Bojčeski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Gostivar from getting a goal against them. Ilija Bojčeski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Makedon Arsov in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Aerodrom Napredok got a freekick which was hit by Luljon Delovski. Gostivar's Lazar Djurovski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aerodrom Napredok. When Makedon Arsov came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Aerodrom Napredok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Makedon Arsov couldn't finish the play. Gostivar's Ilija Bojčeski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Gostivar from getting a goal against them. After having played for 38 minutes, Makedon Arsov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aerodrom Napredok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Makedon Arsov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ranko Uzunov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Stojan Rastkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stojan Rastkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranko Uzunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ranko Uzunov was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Slavko Acevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Bojčeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Makedon Arsov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Bojčeski having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Željko Nevenoski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stojan Rastkov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 67 minutes into the game, Ranko Uzunov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stojan Rastkov. Ranko Uzunov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Luljon Delovski's late challenge caught a Gostivar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luljon Delovski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gostivar booed when Aerodrom Napredok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luljon Delovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Slavko Acevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Makedon Arsov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Bojčeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Makedon Arsov struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ilija Bojčeski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aerodrom Napredok.
