The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ljuben Taleski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makedon Kitanovski having to interfere. Slavoljub Simonovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iljo Spasev in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Tritan Nedelkoski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Sonje FK booed when Konopište was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zare Brankovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iljo Spasev struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Slavoljub Simonovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonje FK. If Iljo Spasev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Sonje FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tritan Nedelkoski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Makedon Kitanovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tritan Nedelkoski in the 30th minute of the match. Ljuben Taleski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Makedon Kitanovski made a huge save. In the 49th minute, Zare Brankovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Konopište fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tritan Nedelkoski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Slavoljub Simonovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iljo Spasev in the 57th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Sonje FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ljuben Taleski came free, but Makedon Kitanovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ljuben Taleski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Konopište was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ljuben Taleski to maneuver through the defense. Iljo Spasev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Iljo Spasev came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sonje FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iljo Spasev couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Konopište's goalkeeper Slavoljub Simonovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Makedon Kitanovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tritan Nedelkoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konopište's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
