The tension between the Demir Kapija and the Koševo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Svetozar Grozdanov hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Demir Kapija's Krste Vasovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bajuk Šupelkov in the 7th minute of play. If Ilir Najdovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ljuba Stojakovič charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ljuba Stojakovič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Demir Kapija booed when Koševo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ljuba Stojakovič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allmir Stamenov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Krste Vasovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilir Najdovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bajuk Kjani having to interfere. It was a penalty for Demir Kapija! Vladimir Janev shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Demir Kapija getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Svetozar Grozdanov hit a great ball. When Teofan Krstev fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demir Kapija's protests and gave Teofan Krstev a yellow card for diving instead. Teofan Krstev hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Demir Kapija got a freekick which was hit by Ilir Najdovski. Krste Vasovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bajuk Šupelkov , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svetislav Samoilovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bajuk Kjani having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Paskal Stojmenov came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Koševo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paskal Stojmenov couldn't finish the play. Tomislav Čelaj kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Krste Vasovski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vladimir Janev. Bajuk Šupelkov s short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Krste Vasovski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 71 played minutes Koševo got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Janev. Demir Kapija's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dime Jovanovski in the 74th minute. Vladimir Janev thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bajuk Kjani, a very annoying self made goal in the 74th minute which led to 2-1. If Ante Lefterov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koševo's goalkeeper Bajuk Kjani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Svetislav Samoilovski struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Bajuk Kjani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demir Kapija. After having played for 94 minutes, Teofan Krstev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demir Kapija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofan Krstev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koševo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
