In the 16th match minute, Dunje Partizan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlatko Dedejski to maneuver through the defense. Bistrica's Vlado Trajanovski got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kire Marku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Srdjan Jakovlevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dunje Partizan booed when Bistrica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allmir Mihailovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuzman Novakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trpe Hristovski in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Dunje Partizan's Kire Marku sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuzman Novakov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuzman Novakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kire Marku, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vlado Trajanovski made a kick off. Naim Atanasov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kuzman Novakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Trpe Hristovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunje Partizan's supporters rose to their feet, but Trpe Hristovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuzman Novakov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Najden Mojsov came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Bistrica's Vlado Trajanovski. But to his dismay, Vlado Trajanovski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Trpe Hristovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kire Marku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuzman Novakov came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dunje Partizan's Kire Marku. But to his dismay, Kire Marku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Kire Marku might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuzman Novakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kire Marku ran back to his position shaking his head. The Bistrica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bistrica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
