Rankovce Rabotnički's Jonče Karamarkovič got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rankovce Rabotnički's Ditmir Karov got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ratae's Cvetko Grčevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ratae from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the game, Luljon Gušev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ratae's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rankovce Rabotnički the free kick. After 14 played minutes Ratae got a freekick which was hit by Luljon Gušev. Jonče Karamarkovič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cvetko Grčevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ditmir Karov in the 17th minute. After 22 played minutes Ratae got a freekick which was hit by Gerasim Sitnikovski. Rankovce Rabotnički's Fidan Šulevski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ratae. Jonče Karamarkovič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cvetko Grčevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rankovce Rabotnički booed when Ratae was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasim Sitnikovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ditmir Karov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Cvetko Grčevski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Rankovce Rabotnički's Armend Selmani got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 65th minute, Rastko Dimitrov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ditmir Karov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Rankovce Rabotnički's Jonče Karamarkovič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cvetko Grčevski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 74 in the game by Paskal Filimon from a close distance when the talented Paskal Šupelkov managed to make a qualified save. Rankovce Rabotnički's players were relieved. If Dobre Uzunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 82 minutes, Paskal Filimon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rankovce Rabotnički's Paskal Šupelkov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Neven Andreev fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ratae's protests and gave Neven Andreev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Neven Andreev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ratae eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
