Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Špëtim Manolev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bekim Siljanov in the 6th minute of the match. Negrevo's Ljuben Manoilovski got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ardi Spirkovski's late challenge caught a Negrevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ardi Spirkovski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Brezno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanail Ordanov to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Negrevo's Veljan Todorovič broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ljuben Manoilovski struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bane Acev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negrevo. 23 minutes into the game, Bekim Siljanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Špëtim Manolev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Špëtim Manolev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bekim Siljanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramadan Spasev kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ardi Spirkovski was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Negrevo booed when Brezno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ardi Spirkovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bane Acev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ljuben Manoilovski in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brezno's goalkeeper Bane Acev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bekim Siljanov in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Špëtim Manolev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bekim Siljanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Nase Šiškovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Špëtim Manolev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brezno's Bekim Siljanov got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th match minute, Negrevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angjelko Davčev to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Negrevo's Ramadan Spasev got a free kick in the 52nd minute.
