If Sašo Jordanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diljan Karov in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nase Nacev saved Virovo from getting behind. In the 10th minute Diljan Karov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nase Nacev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Diljan Karov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ratevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diljan Karov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Krale Donev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ratevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virovo the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Ratevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krale Donev to maneuver through the defense. Nase Nacev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sašo Jordanov in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Dragoljub Sofronievski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blerim Dimov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitrije Popov's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Virovo's Dimitrije Popov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blerim Dimov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ratomir Gocevski's late challenge caught a Virovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ratomir Gocevski helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Ratevo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Virovo:s goal. Kostadin Makedonski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Dimitrije Popov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miloš Cvetanoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diljan Karov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Diljan Karov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes, Trifun Hristovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virovo and the Ratevo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virovo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dimitrije Popov kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diljan Karov in the 62nd minute of play forced Virovo's goalkeeper Nase Nacev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Sašo Jordanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nase Nacev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nase Nacev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diljan Karov, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Diljan Karov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Virovo booed when Ratevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragiša Živkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nase Nacev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sašo Jordanov in the 89th minute of the match. Virovo's Nase Nacev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sašo Jordanov in the 90th minute of play. If Diljan Karov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ratevo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
