The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Žare Nedev kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Blagojče Davidovič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žare Nedev's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Hristo Nasteski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Aliti. Vasilevo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hristo Nasteski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bogoslovec Sloboda's Blagojče Davidovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naim Tasevski in the 20th minute of play. Vasilevo's Marin Aliti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Janič in the 23rd minute of play. If Nestor Janič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Naim Tasevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasilevo and the Bogoslovec Sloboda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bogoslovec Sloboda's Blagojče Davidovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Bogoslovec Sloboda from getting a goal against them. When Gerasim Sidovski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vasilevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerasim Sidovski couldn't finish the play. Marin Aliti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Janič in the 39th minute of play. Blagojče Davidovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žare Nedev in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Gerasim Sidovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasilevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerasim Sidovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Vasilevo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bogoslovec Sloboda were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hristo Nasteski to make the kick off. Blagojče Davidovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasim Sidovski in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vasilevo's goalkeeper Marin Aliti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hristo Nasteski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Aliti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogoslovec Sloboda. In the 82nd minute Hristo Nasteski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Aliti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nestor Janič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Bogoslovec Sloboda got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Damjanovič. Gerasim Sidovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Nestor Janič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Aliti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bogoslovec Sloboda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bogoslovec Sloboda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
