The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Bituše's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatan Nestorov came free, but Allmir Serafimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ljuben Nakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Naum Utkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cvetko Čerepnalkovski in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allmir Serafimov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cvetko Čerepnalkovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allmir Serafimov was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zlatan Nestorov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
