In the 11th match minute, San Diego was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonij Siljanovski to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Mast in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrag Urgovski saved San Diego from getting behind. Gorjan Konstantinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasil Blaževski in the 17th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Fc Shqiponjat got a freekick which was hit by Svetislav Skenderovski. In the 22nd minute of the match Ranko Krstevski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gorjan Konstantinov skillfully saved the ball. Vladimir Davčev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrag Urgovski having to make a save. Dejan Acevski kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 27thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Fc Shqiponjat's keeper Gorjan Konstantinov was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 31 minutes Fc Shqiponjat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ranko Krstevski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ranko Krstevski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Shqiponjat's Gorjan Konstantinov did a great save. When Riste Tomevski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Diego's protests and gave Riste Tomevski a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes San Diego got a freekick which was hit by Riste Tomevski. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vladimir Davčev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pedrag Urgovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Iljo Bocevski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fc Shqiponjat's Gorjan Konstantinov. Gorjan Konstantinov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Antonij Siljanovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Mast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pedrag Urgovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Rodoljub Boševski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Shqiponjat and the San Diego players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of San Diego booed when Fc Shqiponjat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodoljub Boševski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes, Antim Stojanoski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Diego and the Fc Shqiponjat players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antim Stojanoski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Desiderio Mast came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Fc Shqiponjat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Mast couldn't finish the play. Antonij Siljanovski kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Desiderio Mast took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Pedrag Urgovski to make any attempt to save it. When Taško Gruevski fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Shqiponjat's protests and gave Taško Gruevski a yellow card for diving instead. Taško Gruevski hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Diego had won after a very even match.
