Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mile Aliti to make the kick off. Nderim Damevski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Manchester United's Nase Ivanovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Dimiškovski in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Panče Angelov came free, but Nase Ivanovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milorad Cvetanov scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nase Ivanovič, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
