Baškim Aleksovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mite Cvetanoski having to interfere. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Baškim Aleksovski sped through Elšani Napredok's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mite Cvetanoski. Dritan Sofronievski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mite Cvetanoski having to interfere. When Elšani Napredok's Jovica Sumulikovski, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Elšani Napredok. In the 25th minute, Novak Utkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Ivič struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mite Cvetanoski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belica. Todor Stefanovski kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Elšani Napredok's Jovica Sumulikovski got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Jovica Sumulikovski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erkand Trajcevski. Jovica Sumulikovski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 46 minutes, Sašo Mitrevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elšani Napredok and the Belica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Elšani Napredok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sašo Mitrevski to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jovica Sumulikovski to make the kick off. Sašo Mitrevski succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Mitan Simovski fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belica's protests and gave Mitan Simovski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Belica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitan Simovski to maneuver through the defense. If Jovica Sumulikovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erkand Trajcevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jovica Sumulikovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jovica Sumulikovski in the 68th minute of play forced Belica's goalkeeper Erkand Trajcevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belica's Baškim Aleksovski got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mite Cvetanoski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baškim Aleksovski's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Antonio Ivič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mite Cvetanoski made a huge save. Baškim Aleksovski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Belica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ice Todorovski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Antonio Ivič took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mite Cvetanoski. Mite Cvetanoski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
