Luan Simonov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Vidoe Nastevski made a huge save. Vidoe Nastevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimče Slavev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luljet Emini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Slavko Nedelkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Vlado Cvetkovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Štip fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Štip's Jonče Apostolov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dimče Slavev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vidoe Nastevski having to make a save. Dimče Slavev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidoe Nastevski having to interfere. When Jonče Apostolov came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Štip fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonče Apostolov couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Jonče Apostolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavko Nedelkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luljet Emini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonče Apostolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavko Nedelkov having to interfere. Dimče Slavev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidoe Nastevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimče Slavev in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Dimče Slavev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidoe Nastevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Luan Simonov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Štip's Vidoe Nastevski. Vidoe Nastevski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Štip's Vuk Nedev got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes, Lopatica Partizan's Srebre Davitkovski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vidoe Nastevski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lopatica Partizan reached it. 61 minutes into the game, Razmo Kočiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Štip's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lopatica Partizan the free kick. After 61 played minutes Štip got a freekick which was hit by Razmo Kočiu. In the 63rd match minute, Štip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goran Grčevski to maneuver through the defense. Srebre Davitkovski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dimče Slavev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vidoe Nastevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimče Slavev in the 65th minute of play. Saško Čangovski's late challenge caught a Lopatica Partizan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saško Čangovski helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Štip:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lopatica Partizan:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Lopatica Partizan. Srebre Davitkovski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vidoe Nastevski. 2-1. After 72 played minutes Lopatica Partizan got a freekick which was hit by Ramadan Rangelovski. With a little luck, Lopatica Partizan's Slavko Nedelkov got control of the ball when Jonče Apostolov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonče Apostolov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Slavko Nedelkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Luan Simonov made a precise shot to the right of Vidoe Nastevski. Štip's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Lopatica Partizan's goal looked a bit too open when Jonče Apostolov came free, but Slavko Nedelkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavko Nedelkov made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luljet Emini sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lopatica Partizan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Štip a penalty, 101 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saško Čangovski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lopatica Partizan's Slavko Nedelkov. 3-2. Štip's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
