Bogdan Taševski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontie Nikodimovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dzepčište's goalkeeper Bogdan Taševski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leontie Nikodimovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Leontie Nikodimovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Taševski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kondovo Rabotnički's Radovan Krasnicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorazd Mitkovski in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragiša Stamenkoski got free with Bogdan Taševski in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dragiša Stamenkoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bogdan Taševski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leontie Nikodimovski came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kondovo Rabotnički fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leontie Nikodimovski couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Dzepčište booed when Kondovo Rabotnički was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasim Ugrinovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pandil Ajeti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Radovan Krasnicki made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Gorazd Mitkovski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Radovan Krasnicki, passed just outside the right post. When Ljuba Simovski fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kondovo Rabotnički's protests and gave Ljuba Simovski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute of the match, Gorazd Mitkovski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radovan Krasnicki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
