Kadino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velgošti the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Kadino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Žarko Stefanovski to maneuver through the defense. Tomislav Stojakovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taško Despotovski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boban Prodanoski in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branimir Rugova saved Velgošti from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Ognen Kostadinov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taško Despotovski came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Velgošti's Tomislav Stojakovič. But to his dismay, Tomislav Stojakovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Taško Despotovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ognen Kostadinov in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boban Prodanoski in the 20th minute of play forced Velgošti's goalkeeper Branimir Rugova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branimir Rugova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leka Miladinovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boban Prodanoski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Branimir Rugova came out and tried to block the shot, but Boban Prodanoski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute Tomislav Stojakovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taško Despotovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Leka Miladinovič came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Branimir Rugova. 2-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boban Prodanoski made a kick off. Taško Despotovski made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomislav Stojakovič sent off a good shot on target. Branimir Rugova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gligor Nastev in the 60th minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Velgošti! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Kadino. Simeon Svetozarevski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Branimir Rugova. 3-2. In the 68th match minute, Kadino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gligor Nastev to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomislav Stojakovič during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Risto Cukovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Ognen Kostadinov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Taško Despotovski. Ognen Kostadinov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Vase Jakimovski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Taško Despotovski. Kadino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Velgošti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
